According to Plug in India, as of September 2022, the sales of electric two-wheeler have witnessed a notable rise of 206% due to enhanced public awareness as well as an incredible consumer choice in every segment.

World Health Organisation stated that it is because of noise pollution, problems like tiredness, stress, headaches, sleep issue, increased heart disease risks and high BP (blood pressure) have surfaced.
